No- no previous experience in Pilates is required. All new clients are asked to contact us via email so we can complete our screening process. This allows us to highlight your own goals and enables for bespoke advise and modifications to be suggested.
All clients are required to complete and pass our health questionnaire when booking classes.
We also offer face-to-face introductory sessions, allowing for an introduction to the key elements of Pilates and go through any modifications that may be helpful for you. Still unsure if it is for you? Get in touch - I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

Just bring yourself and a drink - we will do the rest. All mats and small equipment that you may use will be provided within the class setting. You may want to bring a small towel but this is not essential.

Classes are small (maximum of 10) allowing the instructor to observe and support each individual with their own needs and adaptations.

Absolutely. Our classes are led by a Physiotherapist with extensive experience supporting people with mobility needs. All new clients complete a screening questionnaire so we can understand your health, goals, and any adaptations required to keep your sessions safe and enjoyable.

If you are a wheelchair user and would like to join our classes, please get in touch.
We aim to make our sessions as inclusive as possible, and many exercises can be adapted or completed in sitting. At present, classes involve a range of postures, including floor-based work, which may not be suitable for everyone.By speaking with you first, we can explore safe alternatives together and decide whether a group class is appropriate or whether a one‑to‑one introductory session would better support your needs.

This isn’t a problem at all. Pilatyio sessions are designed to focus on what you can do, with guidance to help you navigate any challenges that arise. Throughout every class we pace movements, offer variations, and encourage you to work within your own ability so you feel supported, safe, and confident

Classes run in 6‑week blocks (usually aligned with term times). You’re welcome to join partway through a block — you’ll only pay for the remaining sessions.
If you’d like to continue, you can then book onto the next block through our online booking system.
